Having a pet requires a lot of care, despite the fact that they are very strong and resistant animals. It is important to have a control of their health and nutrition with a good veterinarian, give them their vaccinations and ask for information on their best care.

Pets and especially schnauzers are very friendly with children and are very affectionate puppies, although they are always alert to any slight noise to bark. Therefore, it is recommended to teach them from puppies, to pay attention and also to control their emotions when they are in the presence of people outside the family group.

Schnauzers are of German origin and come in three sizes; we have the small, medium and large. They also come in different colored fur, some gray with black, some lighter tending to white, and some light beige.

They are excellent hunters, they will eat any small animal and they will hunt many mice, so you have to be very careful. Because sometimes the neighbors of other houses, put poison for mice and the mice come out of these dying. If your pet eats it, it will most likely be poisoned. If this happens you have to take it to the vet as soon as possible, before the poison kills it. Surely they put an antidote to save his life.

To find out if your schnauzer is poisoned, you will notice that it falls from one side to another, as if it were drunk and will begin to vomit everything it has in its stomach.  When you notice this, you should run and call the vet or take him immediately for assistance.

On the other hand, these animals, if given a good diet, can last up to 20 years of age.  But if you feed them wrong, they will surely have many health problems and their life will be shorter than normal. One of the negative things that this breed of dog has is that they are very delicate with their stomach and that they tend to get very sick when they do not receive the necessary nutrients for their well-being.

It should be noted that because they are sensitive to the stomach, they often suffer from  diarrhea or severe constipation, so if they are not treated, they can die have discomfort and pain. That is why it is very important to learn to make them a balanced diet and to know what the foods that harm their health are.

In this same order of ideas, it is important to be very aware that they do not lack water.  Since they are also very delicate for the kidneys and the liver. By letting your pet become dehydrated, it will become very weak and can fall into a very detrimental state of health. In such a way that they always have to have their container with water in a visible and accessible place for them. And as if it were a baby, we recommend that the water that you put in it is boiled, to prevent it from getting full of parasites and getting sick.

Pets are part of the family and we have to give them the best possible treatment and lots of love. Well, if you just put your schnauzer and lock him in a room and give him good food. But just, you see him for a little time at night; he will surely get sad and get sick with depression. That is why if you are going to have a schnauzer, you have to know that you have to dedicate special time to it, as you do with each member of the family.

They are very sensitive animals and if you do not manage their emotions in a healthy way, they can become depressed or very angry and aggressive. So it is important to give them a lot of love and affection.

If you like these pets and want to give them a special life by your side, and have a companion, through thick and thin, this breed is the best. Schnauzers are the best breed of dog. Of course we will give you the best recommendations, so that you make a diet, that you keep them healthy, strong and vigorous and so that they can accompany you for the next 20 years of your life.

It should be noted that if you have children, the schnauzer is a special gift and even more so if you buy them puppies. Since this will adapt to the treatment and affection of your children and they will have a friend to play with unconditionally. On the other hand, it has been shown that giving this type of breed to children is very important for their mental and physical development. Since being in contact with this pet. The immune system of children is strengthened and they develop more antibodies than children who do not have a pet.

In Spain and in many parts of the world, many people are buying a schnauzer. Since these offer a great company to people who live alone and have a small apartment.  Being a small breed, they easily adapt to any environment, of course always remembering that you have to take them out for a walk and to relieve them outside the home. Otherwise they will get stressed and sick from confinement in a small space.
